me, now: I will pay $5 a month if they make it mandatory to use cohost, in exchange for cohost still existing
Actually I would be happy to pay £5 a month, along with a few other people, to keep the site online in read-only form indefinitely, allowing people to still log in and browse existing posts.
It would prevent people from losing each other, and preserve the site much better as an archive than trying to scrape it for archive.org
I am completely serious about this, and would like to do whatever I can to see it happen.
