just a pair of test models. I did olive drab base with a little sponge camo and a black wash. the blue and yellow don't make a lot of sense but I wanted to make ot easy for people to tell which turret is on there at table distance.

I went with kind of a generic camo scheme because these things get used by everyone

So I just got my mercenaries Kickstarter stuff. And now I understand why the shipping was so out of control. The packaging on the vehicles is absurd. their boxes are twice as deep as the biggest model, and the models are horizontally spaced inefficiently.
all except the battlefield objectives could fit in a box 30% the size of what was used. the battle field objectives could probably fit in a 25% size box.

the main expansion and IS mech sets are not bad but those vehicles likely added at least 25% to the average shipping.
