there's maybe a few changes that i'd make to this design since i drew it like a month ago but yea this is mostly it
the analog stick and d-pad on the left are supposed to be swappable, which in the sketch is done internally with interchangeable daughter boards; aesthetically i'd kinda prefer a sleeker solution à la thrustmaster eswap but the daughter board approach feels more hackable and hmmm idk
what may look like a fifth button on the right is actually a mini right joystick like the one on a n3ds or a trackpoint; i think it'd be neat to have like a small trackpad area below the face buttons instead à la steam controller/deck but that'd be yet another daughter board which, in addition to the controller module ones and the fact i'd prefer the usb-c charging/link connector (not pictured, would go under the screenshot button; the home button would instead double as the power button and the power and charging/link lights would go under it) to be on a daughter board as well for solder-less repairability and uh. that's a lotta daughter boards idk i think i remember hearing that usually manufacturers like having as few as possible? feel free to enlighten me in the comments if you know how this works
also it's supposed to have a (full-size ideally) sd card slot but i didn't know where to put it? when i sketched this i was thinking of using a higher-profile analog stick kinda like the og anbernic rg350 and that meant the controller module section would likely take the entire depth of the case, but if i settled for a low-profile analog stick like the 3ds it could go in the left side probably since the right side would be occupied by the battery most likely
heck that was a lot of words
