Serriden: I am not sure why the Governor of the White Jungle was slinking around the King of Antaram’a private quarters dressed like a street performer, but this is the guiltiest face I have ever seen and so I have brought him here.

(this is happening immediately after Kapriel drops this lore about what was happening to him during one of the timeskips)
Barsamin, Hayr and Serriden stare in shock at an angry Kapriel.
Barsamin, pulling his cousin into an embrace: I’m… sorry. I didn’t realize that’s how things were for you.
Kapriel, astonished: you’re hugging me? have you ever hugged anyone?
Barsamin: 😒 the love of my life, once or twice…
Hayr: it’s been at least three times.
Kapriel, noticing Serriden’s wistful gaze: ❗️ secret detected
Kapriel: Serriden, I was wrong. You have changed. I think I know exactly why your candle has been burning endlessly for weeks.
Serriden: … what does that mean *shaking Barsamin violently* Barsamin, what does he mean by that?!
Barsamin: you’re asking ME?!
Narrator: Kapriel has performed either a chaotic good or a chaotic evil action, it’s not clear which.
To be clear the candle is not a metaphor. Serriden has a specific candle which has literally been burning for weeks and it won’t stop
