READ GLORY IN THE THUNDER, WORLD'S #1 SOURCE FOR TRAUMATIZED TEENS WITH TOO MUCH RESPONSIBILITY https://www.wattpad.com/story/343286820-glory-in-the-thunder

@bushu314 asked:

When I'm reading a fantasy book I find myself constantly referring to a map of the world to keep people and places straight in my head. As you write Glory in the Thunder have you developed a concrete map of where all the countries, cities, roads, etc are? I've got a general idea of how Antaram, Tokhar, and Chald are located in relation to one another but there are lots of other places that have been mentioned that I have no idea about

so one of these is a real in-world map drawn by Rashk that I should probably paste in the wattpad and the other is a joke made with clipart but does show the approximate relative positions of countries (Tarim is Magical Armenia/Mongolia/Korea, the Asramic cities are down in Magical Egypt, Petragon is Magical Italy, the Vrie Lands are Magical The Netherlands, Sulo Sakrath is Magical Finland)

I try to avoid the trap of giving precise measurable distances between places, as that way lies madness, but I think of the Lau Yitar as a bit over a hundred miles long.
