broad stokes? i agree with him 100%. in the end, what you seem to be fighting for in p5 is the status quo. but, where i disagree with him is the conclusion, and on one key point; where he refuses to call it "bad writing" i do. i think its just bad writing. i think the the ingredients, the recipe used to cook p5 is purrfect but they fucked up the baking so bad it came out both under cooked and burnt. royal doesnt exactly fix this but it strengthens it so that its passable, at least in a way. idk. can i start getting communist

i mean, yea. really good. its 10 minutes long so it doesnt really get into the meat of, well, anything, like i think it deserves to, but its. i mean, its good. really good summation of the general points, or whatever. persona 5 is a deeply and decidedly political story, and specifically an anti-fascist, or more generally anti-authoritarian, one. i cant even really say i disagree with anything he says, since its all in such broad strokes, other than that i think his assessment of individualism vs collectivism is lacking nuance, and not even in the way that he admits to. but. eye twitches. can we talk about makoto.
