ughhhh ok don quixote driving me insane. i think i really like the idea of hir being a bloodfiend just like as the base concept i think that works really well in the way that autism loves to be halloween monster. when masking is about nonhumanity and all that its the same thing with gregor. i dont like the way its done though. unless they go a specific way with it. i neeeedddd the donqui we know to be recognized as real and valid and awesome and i dontttt think thats the route theyre going. i genuinely have not felt represented by a character quite like i have with donqui and if they make hir a purrsona that was made to be not taken seriously i am not going to feel good about that
i could see them doing something good with it. part of it kind of ties into my thoughts on dante in that i think the end goal of their story and like kind of the whole point of everything is not going to be them reclaiming their original purrsonality or even memories because they are going to decide that the purrson they have become through their experience with the sinners is more important to them then whoever they were before. i think if thats the route they go with don to i will love it but my fear is that unlike dante noone really likes donqui and i dont know if we have the time to make everyone actually care out hir.
