Probably only about an hour or two long, that kind of thing. Just small stuff to hang out with. A different map each time, maybe?

Once, there was a link here. Now it is a memory. A memory of laughter and hope. A memory of good times. A memory that shall not be forgotten.

I want to actually try it sometime, but i have a hard time getting into anything that’s not vrc (including vr games in general) because im so used to vrc’s controls and systems 🥲
To be fair, most VR games use similar controls. I can't 100% confirm, but I'm pretty sure Resonite and VRC have very, very similar controls. I haven't played VRC in a while, so I can't recall.
I'd recommend it, though! Is free, so you'd be losing time at the worst.
I'm always down to help people get into this wild west of a game lol.
(Am I Cohost's unofficial Resonite tutorial person lol?)
Tbh most of my experience playing VR games was before VRC really existed or had gotten popular yet, like around 2016. At that time the industry hadn’t really standardized vr gaming control, and a loooot of stuff was just using teleport locomotion only or stuff like that. I have genuinely not played many vr games that have come out in the last year or two but i have played hundreds of hours of vrc in that time lol.
I feel like i kept bouncing off VR repeatedly until vrc came into my life around 2021, and then i was like “oh this is a way to do a lot of different stuff in vr without having to learn and get used to novel controls for everything”
Which is all completely valid. Resonite's pretty similar, tbh. The main benefit is being able to spawn (and make) props whenever and wherever you want.
Like with the meetup I hosted last night. It was just... We took a GMod map (gm_bigcity), found an area, spawned props, spawned weapons, and had a fun little PVP game.
Resonite just feels a lot more open than VRC, imo. (And also, y'know, no EAC.)
Sounds like a fun idea. We know a couple of people who would be interested.

I'll make sure to inform people when I plan to do it.
Working on extending my battery life for now (and I think this might work).
