installing windows onto my desktop now... expecting one of two outcomes:

having an actual desktop gpu stops zhe VR headset blackout problem, it becomes my dedicated vr machine
it solves nozhing, i zhrow my headset out of a window. maybe attack it wizh hammers

wandered about in vr trying to do computer-intense stuff to induce a crash for like half an hour, zhen sat and watched zhe entirety of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abWzPcBD45I while sitting in a cosy treehouse and its still running!! so im not gonna say its fixed for sure, but initial tests are Highly Promising amyno_bongos

hell yeah!! you're probably gonna have to stress-test with other people though, the biggest issue with VRChat or Resonite (in my experience) is the avatar performance
I don't have that many avatars that would impact performance, especially alone, but!! could try

yeahhh im expecting it may struggle a lot, but zhe problem ive been chasing around has been total unrecoverable video dropouts, so ill take jitteriness and lag over being Unable to See lmao

havent been able to do any social stuff yet as a result, cause it was dropping out at literally any unexpected moment and it took a full reboot to fix, so sometimes id only get like 2 minutes of gameplay lol
