the funniest thing about morrowind speedruns is that right at the end you can run past Dagoth Ur and stab the heart faster than his dialogue plays, so he ends up saying "What a fool you are. I'm a god, how can you kill a god? What a grand and intoxicating innocence! Ho-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! STOP!"

Having not played Morrowind I imagine it’s most likely some giant eldritch abomination heart, maybe a dragon heart instead. But I prefer to imagine it’s more like a Paper Mario moment and it’s a regular human heart just sitting on a table that you’re manically stabbing repeatedly.
Close, it's a heart of a dead god that dwarves stole and used to build a mech that didn't work, which was later stolen by elves
