Once, there was a link here. Now it is a memory. A memory of laughter and hope. A memory of good times. A memory that shall not be forgotten.

i can understand them not packaging a linux build because of the spotty vr support. but eac is dumb.
The last remaining program on my windows partition. Which is why I don't use VRC anymore
i increasingly get the strong sense that vrchat has succeeded entirely in spite of its management, rather than because of it
Mhm. It's succeeded entirely because of its userbase and immediate accessibility. It came in earlier than others, is free to use, and is on Steam. So it was easier to grab a diverse userbase who filled it with content and community, which allows it to draw in others. Meanwhile, the devs aren't doing that much good for it.
It's also the only one that has a good FTUI and it has way better accessibility compared to its competitors, which is extremely sad for the competitors.
Take with a grain of salt, I'm not super familiar with the alternatives, but:
This is the 'Furaffinity effect' of the 2020s. >_>
There's an Android version too although it's very limited, and they're working on an iOS version which will probably be similarly limited. A lot of people run VRChat on Linux anyway, though, apparently it works pretty well through Photon (even with EAC).
