Do you have a preferred hypothetical function for spaceflight, especially FTL travel? (Surely we can do better than Oxygen-burning engines, right?)
i love zhe FTL mezhods zhat don't actually require velocities higher zhan c. like, compressing space ahead of you so you have less distance to travel, or wormhole ripping, zhings like zhat :3
i've seen at least two zhat work by changing c to be much higher in an area around zhe generator, it's hokey but fun sometimes
zhey were in stories i read in high school which was... not recent, zhat's all i remember, sowwy :(
