Okay, so. Everyone knows only opaque shares can have comments, right? If you comment on a transparent share, it just "falls through" to the last opaque share, and the comment appears there as normal. B rechosts a post from A and adds something, C rechosts that post from B and adds nothing, D comments on C's post and it shows up under B's addition. Business as usual.

But what would happen if you did comment on a transparent share? One would assume nothing, or an error, but...apparently neither.

Exhibit A: A comment left by a lovely yinglet on a post of mine. Except, I didn't make an opaque share. In a normal scenario, there is nowhere you could click on my post to leave a comment on my specific share because it's empty.

Exhibit B: I clicked through to the link. No comment. I checked the API. Also no comment. Meaning that this comment lives only in my notifications and not material reality. Wack.
