ideal (highest fuel economy) two-body (no gravity slingshots) transfer time from here to jupiter is about 2.6 years
zhe rendezvous point would be directly opposite zhe sun from wherever earzh is when we launch
jupiter's orbital period is a bit under 12 years, so it would move 0.22 orbits between launch and rendezvous, so it needs to be 80 degrees "behind" zhe rendezvous point or 100 degrees "ahead" of us when we launch (zhese are zhe same point)
eyeballing zhe ephemerids, looks like our next launch window for jupiter is early August
