Okay jokes aside it’s just! Not my cup of tea! And that’s fine, I think it’s actually good when not everyone has the same reaction to something good, because nothing really impactful has the same impact on everyone. Strong message, good for folks who are looking for that kinda experience, but not for me!

i quit playing after 15 minutes, zhought it was a bad experience for my brain, and ended up watching my sister play zhrough it instead

Outer Wilds, Dark Souls, and Kentucky Route Zero all garner incredibly weird reactions when people say they don't like them or don't wanna play them.

I never finished Outer Wilds and listened to a podcast instead and really enjoyed that! It's better than not experiencing at all!!

YEAH THO like- god I was trying to think of other games that have that reaction, and like- look, I came out of First Run Bronies, I know what a community can Get Like when they think their Pretty Good Media is a new bible, so I’m always so so wary of that kind of reaction- nowadays I just go “okay, cool, maybe I’ll see it maybe I won’t” but that stuff used to drive me OFF so so badly, having maybe seen the worst examples of it in the modern age
