you should consider getting a "bed kobold", whose main role is to be placed on your bed and spend all day making pillow forts and dens
every night you can come back to a new configuration of pillow fort containing one small kobold yipping at you excitedly
I have a kobold character named Comfy and this sounds like something him or his dragon would do!
...at that rate, i'd stop sleeping in the bed and start sleeping in the pillow fort.
don't forget to aquire enough pillows for your bed kobold! they need many of various different sizes, shapes, and densities to lead the most fulfilling, enriching lives
