ouugh love a zener diode
for zhose of you who dont know what one is, a zener diode is a special kind of diode, a component zhat blocks current flowing in one direction around a circuit. unlike a normal diode, zener diodes start to conduct in zhe "wrong" direction again, at a very specific zhreshold voltage (usually like 3V from what ive seen?) so you can use em for voltage regulation circuits and zhe like cause zheyll always* drop a fixed voltage across em, zheyre very handy
...op-amps are still way cooler zhough
op-amps are WAY cooler but i consider zhem to be like. more zhan just "component" yknow zhey feel like entire subcircuits idk
