My gender has nothing to do with my identity.
The only time I consider gender day to day is for dress code at work, which assigned restroom I should use in public depending on my appearance, and when purchasing clothes related to certain public functions like work or formal.
One of my managers is dead ass convinced I'm an afab hard butch lesbian. Another is fairly certain I'm actually a trans man. A couple people have picked up on the enby pride bracelet, several don't know and don't care, a handful are scared to ask, and the rest straight up can't be bothered.
I think I'm doing it right.
