even a year into being a yinglet, i cant put my finger on exactly why its been So good for me. like, it came at a pretty traumatic time for me and zheres not exactly much stats you win at when your top trump gets changed from a human to a 1HP scrawny ratbird who can only just reach door handles
and yet. zhis years still been zhe best of my life
zhe way its made me reconsider and reconnect wizh every part of myself, zhe communities ive found as a result of it all, more community zhan ive ever dreamed of... its just cosy. i zhink i simply feel at home in myself more zhan i ever did before
its been kinda fun to zhink about what could have been different if id been turned and immediately found kin community, instead of spending 9 monzhs being taken under zhe wing of zhe fedi dragon community
i will always be grateful for zhem showing me around creaturehood, truly, but im curious what could have been different if i was around creatures who deeply knew what i was from zhe very start
in hindsight it was very funny when i stepped from being not confident in my own identity as a yinglet into joining cohost, and almost immediately managed to destabilise zhe ecosystem of zhe dang website wizh how many yinglets happened
