Text should work for italics, and Text for bold. Cohost doesn't like mixing markdown and HTML, so you have to use HTML to bold/italicise in the collapsible bit. (Cradle had a lot of trouble with links on an older post using flexboxes, HTML's link syntax is really obtusely labelled.)
