So I'm having an extremely frustrating problem with this site on desktop- it loads 1, maybe 2 pages correctly, then fails to detect encryption and denies me access. No other website I regularly check has had this happen, my phone and some folk I asked on Discord don't have this happen, and opening a private window doesn't have this happen. It's not related to cookies, because I already tried clearing them and it didn't help; starting a new browser session fixed it, but only for a few hours before this problem returned, and it takes firefox so long to start up when closed I prefer to just keep it open. If anyone can explain why this is happening and how to fix it, I'd be grateful.
BONUS: I also have to post this from a private window, because post functionality is also broken for my main browser

Trying it today at least gave me an actual error message- PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR - but I still don't understand why it's specifically an issue with Cohost and not any other site.

I was suggested to try deleting the cert file in case it was corrupted, will report in if things break again

complete guess, but do you have any browser extensions that aren't enabled in private windows? one of those could be breaking the site for you. (i guess it's this because newly installed extensions aren't enabled in private browsing by default, and one time i was having bizarre issues with google docs that turned out to be because of an extension which until that point caused no problems)

I don't think any of my extensions are inactive by default in private windows? The only three I have that I had to install are uBlock Origin, Tampermonkey (to make uBlock work), and Right-Click Borescope, and they all work in private browsing

In the sense of not happening on my phone, no, but I can't easily check on desktop- the only other browser I have installed is Edge, and I never use it so on trying to test it wound up refusing to work unless I logged in
