So I picked up Astonisher Vol 1; it's a comic about a hero who can enter the minds of other people, but only if they have superpowers too (it's in a setting where the powers all come from the same source). On the one hand, I like what I've seen, but on the other, I'm disappointed that, while sitll discussing mental illness including the lead being noted to have ADHD and PTSD, the main conflict is space brain parasites that want to have some sort of assimilation mass-infection plot and the mental world segments are relatively short
On the plus side, though, this gives me ideas for something in the same spirit, a therapist for superheroes (and supervillains, presumably)
