How does one advertise writing commissions? We're open for them but it's hard to showcase writing compared to something like visual art

one option: an image that contains a snippet of text you've written, dressed up a little bit to be eye-catching but primarily still readable. another option: have a really prominent text based logo for your commissons and make that the initial focus. another another option: a text post with some css to make the text pop compared to everyone else's posts. these options are not mutually exclusive!
