Finished the absinthe poster!!!

This probably is the most challenging of the style studies Ive done. Ive found that the semi-realistic neo-classical style is one of the hardest to replicate in 3d, and the bizarre shapes of the decorations were also very difficult to wrap my head around in 3d.

The lineart is all done in blender with grease pencil. the lettering was drawn as a vector in affinity designer before importing it into blender as a svg.

This was rendered as 4 layers, (foreground, main lineart, colors, and an opacity mask for the background decorations) plus 2 color gradient layers I made in affinity photo, before compositing the whole thing in clip studio paint. The color layer had lots of post-process in blender's compositor also
