might just be limited by physical rpm at this point; spin that shit too fast and no amount of stabilization will help it
at some point CDs also like to catastrophically fail, at which point you're gonna have a ton of shards in your drive and generally a bad time. Obviously this is only really a problem when a disc gets a crack or sth but I've seen the aftermath of it
