Coffee does a good things to my brain.
I've had caffeine in the mornings. It usually makes me pretty tired, or gives a small burst of energy.
I've had warm drinks/teas in the morning. Again. Nice. usually very calming.
I've started tossing coffee into the mix and now I can relax??? My brain somehow feels more regulated and OK? I feel like I can actually have a regularly good day?????? I don't feel as much like my moment-to-moment experience isn't a constant rollercoaster dictated by every small emotional interaction I have in a day. Its SO RELIEVING.

For context, I was raised with a demonization of caffeine and certain classifications of non-prescription stimulants & drugs. So I'm discovering this after 25 and I just.
IM SO MAD BECUASE LIKE I COULD HAVE BEEN LIVINg A RELATIVELY NORMAL LIFE(untrue) AND I AM MOURNING THE FACT THAT I COULDA BEEN A BIT MORE OK ON THE REGS BEFORE BURNING OUT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᴬᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃᵃ
Obviously, I haven't done the research. I don't know almost anything about what coffee does other than its got the juice. that spicy juice. There's the bitter bit, and that's not fun. But like the sour bit of coffee? ooh. OOH. That's the shit right there. That gets my brain going with the good shit. I've certainly got some personal testing to do, and some information to gather... but like. I'm kinda excited to jump into this new space where I was previously pretty negative towards despite it being really popular.
Anyways. Coffee is cool. I can't wait till I start being a complete coffee degen who's all like "aaah, yes. I like my lattes with two shots of chai and a medium roast columbian bean. ohohoohoho"
