reading through one piece again and just like the last time, once i get to Wano my eyes just start to glaze over
it's just incredibly tiring. oda throws dozens of names and new characters and new concepts at you, with pages and pages of characters recapping the backstory of the wano shogunate and their role in it because the whole plot relies on following a twenty year long struggle for the throne
you get at least one page per chapter of a brand new character giving you homeworks just so you can follow what's happening and this really isn't what i read one piece for
if you're not into the aesthetic of feudal japan it's a death march of an arc
