furry ads are one of my favorite forms of outlandish and weird (affectionate) media and i've spent a really long time collecting the banner ads from Fur Affinity and taking screenshots of the websites and kickstarters and storefronts etc that they point to. some day i want to compile these into a proper archive to preserve them for posterity to behold
please make this into an online museum
that extremely rules. it hadn't occurred to me how badly someone needs to preserve those, thank you for doing that!
haha yw, yeah, it's definitely a topic that deserves more attention! i haven't saved every ad unfortunately because i feel like there'd be too much for me to deal with but i pretty much always save anything that isn't a typical "open for comms" ad from a 2D artist. sometimes i find one of those ads especially interesting or flamboyant too though, so there's a few in there at least. i don't really know how i'm going to go about putting it all together into a proper museum or whatever but if you have any suggestions i'd be happy to hear :o
