i'll just say it
the gender swapping non binary character in Gen V is really fucking cool in terms of what identity means in that kinda world and it is infuriating that they went with the decision of using a squelching BWORCH sound whenever they switch genders (off screen) that kinda makes it sound disgusting
and it really feels like it was supposed to happen without any sound at all, as they switch gender often throughout the same scene when they're off camera or something passes in front of them. and that a producer at some point went "what this is immensely confusing first he is boy then he is girl??? put a LOUD sound effect so we can hold people's hands through this yes yes i'm so creative"
