Today was...interesting! I left the house for an errand, and when I got there, I was told, oh, you don't actually need to do that anymore. You need to go to this other place. So the whole time going home Aether was thinking how to accuse the person who told us to do the errand a liar 😬 Like he was going through all the potentials for the conversation and it's like...bro chill.
Played Spyro 1 from the start and 100%'d it! Karu did, specifically, they were fully at the front and they were super happy 🥰 I even got them to write in the journal! They want more video games where you're a dragon lol. I'll figure it out, set up the roms and all that so Karu won't have to figure that out, just jump in and start playing.
I, bird, have ADHD, and I imagine everyone else does in some capacity, but it's really bad for Karu. It's almost like my ADHD meds aren't working when they're at the front. But all they do is play games and color and try to watch TV but they can't focus on it. It's just background noise while doing other things. Also TV watching has to be done on one of my 2 computers, and that means I, bird, might be tempted to check messages or Twitter or something...and since those are "mine," it chases off anyone else at the front. Watching TV on an actual TV, using an Apple TV or something, doesn't have this issue. But also that would have to be in the living room, where anyone can see us, and Karu does not want to be perceived! So I, bird, have to log out of all my accounts and use a different web browser just so Karu can click around Netflix in peace lol.
In other news: I got a cut on my finger cooking last night, and it is in the worst place, always in the way of doing things, and also I can't use my fingerprint to unlock my phone with the bandaid on. I've been using disposable gloves on that hand when eating food with my hands or cooking so I don't get lime juice or garlic or anything in it.
