By mini, I mean, like, less than a second. It's almost like when there's a bad storm out and you get a power blink, with everything going dark for just a moment. But I KNOW it's not that, because it's not resetting the clocks on the stove/microwave...and my roommate isn't experiencing it, either. So it's something going on with ME.

I don't know if this is a disassociation/switching thing, or something else. I also get ocular/retinal migraines, which means my vision just...goes to shit sometimes. It used to be giant (blobby) patches of blindness (i.e. total black, no sight at all), but now things just get super blurry (like your glasses are very, VERY smudged). But those come on gradually and take awhile to go away. What I'm experiencing is a very sudden on/off.

A recent time this happened, I was "jumpscared" by something in the kitchen, which is a place where there are several bad triggers for me. So that SEEMS like it could have been a switch (even if it's just no one being at the front at all). But it's also happened in the past few days where nothing weird/upsetting has been going on, either in the moment or recently.

So, yeah, does anyone else experience something like this?

πŸ“– I think we've started noticing these things slowly over time since discovery, we're thinking this is a sort of dissociation thing. It seems to happen at times right before we involuntarily switch, where there's just a moment of weird blurriness, as if the eyes lose focus on what they're looking at and we lose track of thought for just a second, before the next person takes front.

But that's just our experience, it could be any number of things for any system, really.
