Celebrity deaths don't usually do anything to me, it's usually things like the great musicians such as Ryuichi Sakamoto or another member of kraftwerk passing.. but like when it comes to shows and film I'm not all that shaken usually.
However, Paul Reuben particularly in his pee-wee rolls we're a massive part of my upbringing. I did see the films, including the more recent one, but I just remember my father having a massive collection of the Pee-wee's playhouse vhs's and I watched the s*** out of that as a kid.
Looking back at that show, it not only holds up and it's hilarious insanity to this day, but it also explains a lot about me and the way that I operate humorously and energetically. I think it was just a really special part of my childhood that I just got punched in by hearing that he died.
