That man's style graced so many projects but Chrono Trigger is in my experience the greatest RPG ever, it's probably my favorite game to this day. I replay it on my own annually and remember all the fun my sister and I had playing it, voicing the characters, taking in the style and dialog from it's wonderful cast.
If you know me, you know I'm obsessed.
I think this tie to my earliest memories is what makes this news such a gut punch for me personally. It's surreal to hear a genius died. Especially when it's just too damn soon.
