- Hard to get a hang of at first but when you get into the swing of things, incredibly cool and satisfying
- Fully satiates my gorilla go fast and charge through level brain: fully intend on doing any% speedruns of it
- The most cathartic ending I've ever seen in a video game. Peppino is the fucking best
- Don't Make A Sound just sucks and certain toppins are a pain, but thankfully since my goal is any% speedruns there are Very easy solutions to both problems: Not doing them. If my goal was P ranks I'd have a different opinion but I'm more of a time attack type person than a 100% completion type person
- On that note, Golf while employing skips for the last 2 toppins is definitely my favorite level in the game
- No complaints about the bosses whatsoever and I'm excited to get into optimising them (already got Pepperman to 1:42.66 without taking damage)
- Basically I think every 6 years or so someone releases a 99% close to perfect 2D platformer, VVVVVV and Celeste are examples of that, and Pizza Tower is another occurrence of that, absolutely sublime (and it doesn't hurt my hands nearly as much as Celeste does!)
- Just kind of want to revoice my disbelief over how much Don't Make A Sound sucks and that it's basically the only actively bad level. It's very hard to get me to dislike something to this degree (most recent I can think of are like, certain ffxiv fights, salt and sacrifice as a whole, that one impossible attack elden rings bosses have. you know the ones) so it's impressive that nothing else in the game even comes close to the same level of frustration
- Given that it's skippable though 11/10 would pizza my tower again (and 100% will)
