I'm Abby! That's it

This is an extremely WIP page. Is it still? Or have I not edited my page in years? Who can tell

Still no deathless run: Early in the run the jangmo-o I started with and a shiny sizzlipede got KO'd by a guts toxic orb teddiursa I wasn't anticipating. Otherwise it was clean though... Maybe next time? Felt bad that I lost the starter as early as I did but the run managed to pick up the pieces and I still haven't lost. Shoutouts to individual mons after the read more because I like talking about these:

  • Gardevoir was the easy MVP, was trying a screens strategy this run and it paid off amazingly. Trace also did surprisingly well this run, allowing it to 1: steal sheer force from a Nidoqueen and sweep, 2: steal Shadow Tag from a Wobbuffet lead and escape to better handle it, and 3: intimidate back at a mon multiple times through a run. Will be thinking more about which mon might best both work as a lead mon and as a screens setter, which might end up being Grimmsnarl since it's been historically good at that, has a usable attack stat, and no 4x weaknesses
  • Chesnaught using my usual drain punch + bulk up shenanigans, but it was surprisingly nice to have that on a grass type, letting it fill more roles at once even though I struggled partially with bug and poison types resisting both stabs with one type
  • Spectrier which even though it only has one attacking type still managed to sweep through teams that didn't have normal types on them, shadow ball/substitute/nasty plot is a surprisingly decent set here especially when it's behind a screen and has leftovers
  • Finally, a Crobat I ended up replacing with Spectrier towards the end of the run, was trying a nasty plot set on with heat wave on it that did work well, funny to me that Crobat ends up being so flexible in these (multiple 4x resists, no 4x weaknesses, an immunity, the ability to be either a banded pivot or a special setup sweeper)

Otherwise Mamoswine was mainly there for banded ice shards (helpful at minimum to have strong priority) but was a mon I was considering as a starter itself, Swampert which is the usual defensive anchor it's always excellent at being, and Nihilego which felt difficult but rewarding to get beast boost to actually target special attack (ended up using modest nature and a choice scarf to maximize it). Fun run! Also got embargo curse at some point but it was fun to play around not having potions as an option in battle, was expecting it to affect held items based on things I'd heard
