Pokemon bank isn't going down, but just in case with the rest of 3ds online going down soon (fuck nintendo btw piracy is always morally correct) that lit a fire under me to fix a massive hole in my pokemon collection: A legitimate Deoxys that didn't have my deadname on it, since I didn't know I was under the trans umbrella when I played through oras. Partially inspired by an Emerald Archipelago run I did on @TanukiLina's stream recently where a Deoxys found early in the whismur cave became my main mon for it, which was also where I quietly decided that Deoxys can be a gender sometimes in the same way zero suit samus can be sometimes
This has also emboldened me to start 2 projects
Project 1: A shiny nihilego hunt I had apparently been in mid-progress in ultra sun, which is probably gonna be on the back foot in favor of
Project 2: I have a master ball in oras now and a fresh set of non-shiny-locked legendaries. This gives me a few options, but there is one that's the most appealing - in brilliant diamond I might've hunted for a shiny dialga but cut that short to instead shiny hunt Arceus. This is now another opportunity to shiny hunt specifically dialga. An alternative option is zekrom which is a similarly appealing shiny but right now I can't think of a reasonable way to get a level 100 pokemon in oras
Figured out the answer to that last part: In my X save there is a single level 100 crobat that I think I did legitimately grind out to that much as a side effect of my past money farming schemes in that game, and I can move that into alpha sapphire
This is, I'm pretty sure, my final remaining use of my X save. And I also don't have a reason to restart in that game either. Not even to get a Xerneas without my deadname or something, I got that in ultra sun
