A doll covered in crystals.
They're not fake. And they weren't part of the doll's design: At some point, the crystals just started growing in its wooden frame.
There have been no small number of times that its witch has been urged to take those crystals - even by her doll.
She tried once - and only at her doll's urging.
She noticed right away that the doll was in pain, however.
She stopped right then and there, swearing it off.
Once, the doll came up to her, having taken out one of the crystals on its own - and she was horrified at the pain it must have experienced, making it swear never to hurt itself for her sake again.
So thus - a star-studded doll.
Treasured by its witch - and not just for the crystals that its wood grows.
Its happiness means more than all the treasures in the world.
