A doll with its witch on New Year's Eve.

It recounts past New Year's Eve with its old friends, its old family. They were fun, in their own ways.

But it always felt like an obligation that it had to fulfill.

It had to watch fireworks together, it had to stay awake for the midnight, it had to prepare the New Year's Dinner - it had to do so much, even if it didn't want to.

When they drifted apart, be it due to time, distance, or simply not interacting with each other...

It spent more and more time at home.

More and more cloistered away time in its room.

It was a vague relief, to be honest, when it stopped celebrating altogether when it moved out.

Admittedly, it was a bit lonely.

But it was better than forcing "enjoyment".

This year, for the first time, it's celebrating New Year's Eve with its witch.

This time, it's a choice it made.

Of course it's spending it with its witch.

It wouldn't spend it anywhere else.

A doll with its witch on New Year's Eve.

A holiday with new life.
