A doll with the chance to send a letter back in time.
Its witch came to it out of the blue, the spell woven and ready to send.
The doll looks at the sigils, quiet.
It's something that it's admitted to its witch time and time again. Something it's joked about. How much it wished that things were different.
How much it regrets things that it has no hope of changing.
The witch promises that, no matter what it says, the witch will always end up back in its life somehow: that she has a letter to herself that she intends to send at the same time.
So the doll can say anything it wants to say - and know that, no matter how reality changes, it will always have her in its life.
The doll
Dispels the sigils.
"Meeting you has made everything worthwhile."
"This one wouldn't change a thing."
It gives the witch
The biggest smile it can.
Its eyes burning with tears.
"Not a thing!"
