inspired by playing a bunch of Infocom games lately, i started poking around Inform 7. not a fan of the built-in gender binary inherited from a software stack going back to the early 90s. i feel like that could've been updated
otherwise i think it's Extremely Neat to make a game with the programming language known as "extremely stilted English"
i wrote this in like. 5 minutes. it compiles and plays just like you'd expect. this is so fucking cool
Colossal Cave Adventure had 40 rooms. my game, Adventure 2000, will have 41 rooms. that's one better
