Hi I'm Shel. I'm a librarian in my late-20s. I used to be a high-profile activist but I'm pretty burnt-out right now and taking a break from it (I say this but I'm never actually completely uninvolved.) I also self-publish poetry that people seem to really like.
Other things about me are that I'm Ashkenazi Jewish, bisexual, transgender, and a genetic freak who is not normal. I've spent a lot of time doing transformative justice work in various communities in various capacities. I'm also a big transit nerd who is very into maps and geography of all matters. I also read a lot of books, especially science fiction novels, and I really like board games and music.
