I'm the sweatier, more ballmeresque cofounder of @anti-software-software-club. cohost originally grew out of me being pissed off at patreon -- not for anything particular they did, just the general concept of it existing as a for-profit company. I've been seeing @zip for almost nine years now, at first in person, then long distance, then in person again, then long distance again.
when I'm not adding bugs to cohost, I work on little electronics projects, and recently I've gotten unhealthily interested in 3D printing. for a while I played the drums, but I haven't really had the floor space I can courteously stomp on since my last move, so now I just kind of sit near them.
a very incomplete list of coposters I like from the "friends and family" era
- @compactdiscinteractive, a project of @dog where she posts various ephemera from video games of the '80s and '90s;
- @shel, particularly their long-form text posts about urban planning;
- @tef, who's doing a lot of good photography blogging;
- @procession-of-ghosts, a project of @ren-or-raven where she's writing short fiction set inside video game worlds;
- @nex3, both for her drink photography and for various abuses of CSS she's perpetrated on this web site
