back in the early aughts, part of the advertising for early marvel films was the release of DVDs from the relevant 90s animated cartoon of whatever property was getting adapted. the earliest of these i can remember is a DVD titled "Spider-Man: The Ultimate Villain Showdown," which includes a 2-parter with Doc Ock, Green Goblin's introductory episode, and uh... Big Wheel? Big Wheel.
There's a couple things I could talk about, like how there's a Rogues' Gallery feature with bios for several major spidey villains with clips and Stan Lee commentary, or how the show itself is full of errors and awkwardly reused animations and the pacing feels like i'm watching a recap of an episode rather than an episode itself or how you'd never notice that S&P apparently said Spider-Man couldn't punch anyone so he takes villains down with grapples and webbing them up and swinging kicks but once you know you can't unsee it, but when i realized these episodes also include the first appearance of Madame Web in the show i remembered there was supposed to be a Madame Web movie and apparently it's done filming and supposed to come out in February but we haven't gotten a trailer and only know like two characters that are going to be in it.
like Kraven the Hunter got pushed out but we got its first trailer like five months before what was supposed to be its original release date
