ＡＣ！Ｄ ＳＨＡＲＫ

A lot of artists I commission regularly these days are folks I've worked with several times and built a rapport with or, occasionally, straight up just friends of mine. So most of the time it's people I'm just on very casual terms with.

Other times I've worked with folks that are very straightforward and professional and I do what I can to be enthusiastic to make sure it's clear how I feel about the work they're doing, but I understand if they maintain the professionalism thru the transaction.

I haven't had any particularly bad experiences, like I'm not gonna turn this into any kind of BUYER BEWARE post, but I have had experiences that have put me off commissioning artists in the future. I'll still follow them, share their work, boost commission openings and all that but beyond that it's like, eh, I'm all set.

I suppose to just put a positive punctuation on this, thanks to all the artists I've worked with, whether you approached it with either clear enthusiasm or even taciturn professionalism, I appreciate every one of you.
