Get a seed box. Straight up, do your torrenting on a server in a country where they don’t give a single shit and then FTP that stuff right back to your house. I’ve been using seedhost.eu, but there are plenty of other providers as well
I'm a firm believer that if you only use private trackers this isn't that big a deal.
If you download stuff from public trackers that's a different story though and you're right.
For the most part, you’re right. There’s some private trackers that have gotten big enough though that it gives me pause. Plus, with a seed box your download and upload speeds are usually insane and you can leave uploads uncapped and have no effect on your own network performance.
vast majority of my stuff comes off usenet anyway which saturates my network unless i cap it
Usenet is the true piracy lifehack and I miss getting free accounts with any ISP
