There are only four Wanderings in The Ageless Black. They are born directly from the Void like Another One, but end up in The Ageless Black (often by some freak accident) before they've had time to grow to the massive size of Another One. Unlike Another One, which are dedicated to pulling the Ageless Black back into the hole within the Void, the Wanderings simply do as their name implies: They wander along A Long Dark Road, the darkest area of The Ageless Black, before settling down in one area for some time. If left alone long enough in that area, they'll change the landscape around them and cause these areas to be saturated in Void and thus unlivable. They don't seem to do this out of malice, it's simple their nature to spread the Void in this way. (This could be why Another One do not just have The Ageless Black overrun with Void creatures. They don't all seem to be of the same mind in regards to what to do with it. In the case of Wanderings, they do not seem to harbor any ill will towards The Ageless Black on a personal level.)


Like Another One, Wanderings are physically very hardy, but will melt if caught in direct light. As Wanderings often remain along A Long Dark Road, catching them in light is difficult.

Habitats
Dark Places- Wanderings only wander along A Long Dark Road, so any place near this road can be the temporary home of a Wandering.

Skills and Abilities

Abyssal Error- When a Wandering stays in an area for long enough, it will eventually cause an “Abyssal Error.” This happens when a Wandering begins to spread Void, but the natural light of The Ageless Black prevents the Void from spreading very far, which can be seen as an Error to those of the Void. It becomes an Abyss instead, which is like an enclosed Void, hence the name.

All the Same- Each Wandering has the following Skills and Abilities:
Self-sustenance, Miasma Emission, Darkness Manipulation, and tentacle manifestation. They have improved intelligence, durability and agility. In addition to these skills and abilities, each Wandering has their own skill:

Woe- While all Wandering can Cloak to some extent, Woe can become more or less completely invisible when in the dark
Discomfort- Discomfort seems to enjoy using its fear-inducement skill to scare others to the point of freezing up, if its raspy giggles are anything to go by.
Apprehension- Apprehension will shape shift into different forms to overwhelm its opponents, making it the most dangerous to fight.
Enrapture- Enrapture's sonic scream can blow away anything not held down. It has the sound of bells ringing out loudly.
