"Wow, that battle felt like it lasted for weeks" one member cleverly pointed out.
A few lessons were learned - along with our first Licenses.
For myself, apparently loading my mech with two different explosive weapons that need to be reloaded with a Full Action, plus one of them needing to be fired before moved, was Not A Good Idea
Second that "Main Weapon" actually means something and there's a difference between types of weapons! So the one time I tried to use a Talent which required that with a Heavy Charged Blade was a very underwhelming move.
Third that, dang, that's a lot of mech options for the next session. I've decided I'll steer clear away from Horus - thank you very much but I will not Castigate The Enemies Of The Godhead - and go for big and bulky.
One License in Harrison's Armory Genghis has kindly supplied me with a Flamethrower, and eventually with my Big Boi. Unfortunately my group is still going through some issues, and our next session will only be on the 16th. Still, fun times await.
