A lot of people don't seem to realize this, but most of the Saturn launch titles only released in major markets here in the US. Panzer Dragoon, Daytona, etc., did not release at launch in Fayetteville NC, where I lived at the time. I had access to nothing in those early months after the early May 1995 system release. Many times I thought I was correcting people that said they got, for example, Panzer Dragoon with their early release system, just to find out they lived in a bigger area that did get these games at launch.
For example, Joe from GameSack still has his receipt for his Saturn, from May 1995, with both Daytona and Panzer Dragoon.
Toys r us had a binder with games and dates. These games were listed for at least 3-4 months after I got the Saturn, and they did in fact release on those dates where I lived.
Long story short, I was so hard up for ANYTHING that I immediately bought Street Fighter the Movie the game when I saw it a couple months after the Saturn released.
I'm a mark for SEGA, but the infighting between SEGA of America and Japan, SEGA was ruining their reputation. I don't care how much SEGA USA did during the Genesis days, they absolutely sabotaged everything they helped build, and it was nothing but silly egos and posturing.
