Mika's name being named Crescent Moon after half of it got blown up in the calamity war matches with what a machine built for the war does to him!
I wonder if he has actually changed as a person since the start of s1. I *think* I noticed him actually conveying emotions unlike what he acted like at the start.
Kinda like a featureless marble block/full moon getting a shape carved into it, but as the story goes on it breaks him down completely until there's nothing left.
