Personally I choose to believe the microplastics in my bones make them stronger. It's like a composite material. You can't prove that's not true.

really, the only thing you gotta Truly watch out for is earth type incoming damage. otherwise plastic's really more of a buff than anything.
personally I've had a chat with my microplastics and now they come forth to protect me when necessary i.e. catching bullets and blades and such
